Return & Refund Policy — Progressive Tech PCs

​ Custom-Built Computers – Return Policy

At Progressive Tech PCs, every system is built with precision and care. We take pride in delivering high-performance, reliable PCs tailored to your exact needs. Below is our return and refund policy, effective for all purchases made via our website or directly with our team.

1. Custom PCs Are Non-Returnable (Except for Faults)

Because each PC is custom-built to your specifications, returns due to change of mind are not accepted. Please ensure all specifications are confirmed before finalizing your order.

2. Faulty or Defective Systems

If your system arrives with a hardware fault or manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it as follows:

  • 7-Day DOA Period:
    If your PC is dead on arrival (does not boot or function correctly), notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will:

    • Collect the unit

    • Inspect it

    • Repair or replace it at no extra cost

  • Warranty Support:
    All components carry their manufacturer warranty (usually 1–3 years). We’ll assist you in processing valid warranty claims if issues arise after 7 days.

3. Component-Specific Returns (Unopened Only)

Pre-packaged items such as keyboards, mice, monitors, or accessories may be returned within 7 days, only if they are unused, unopened, and in original packaging. A 10% restocking fee may apply.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Contact us via email or WhatsApp with your order number and issue.

  2. We’ll arrange pickup or guide you through drop-off.

  3. Once we inspect the item, we’ll process your refund, replacement, or repair within 7–14 working days.

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method (EFT, card, etc.). Please allow 3–7 working days for processing after approval.

 6. Service Area Notice

We offer return pickup in Rustenburg, Centurion, Pretoria, Johannesburg, and surrounding areas. Customers in remote locations may be required to ship items back to us.

7. Exclusions (Non-Returnable Items)

  • Opened software or licensing keys

  • Custom-built PCs with no hardware fault

  • Systems damaged by misuse, electrical surges, or customer modifications
